This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the SpotMe website and the SpotMe service.

What we collect. When you create an account we collect: your name, email, date of birth (to confirm you're 18+), selected gym, optional profile details (bio, photos, prompts, training style, and preferences you choose to share), and the language you use. We also capture campaign source, medium, campaign, content, and term from the URL on your first visit (UTM parameters). With your consent, we set analytics and advertising cookies that collect anonymous usage data.

Why we collect it. We use your information to run your account, show you to the right gym community, help you discover and connect with other members, and measure which ads and pages bring people to SpotMe. We do not sell your personal information.

Where it is stored. Your account and profile data is stored in our managed database and file storage. Analytics data is processed by Google Analytics. Ad measurement is handled by Meta (Facebook). These providers only receive the data described in this section, and only when you have accepted the corresponding cookies.

What partners receive. Google Analytics receives anonymous, aggregated usage statistics. Meta receives a hashed (SHA-256) version of your email and the fact that you signed up, but never your name, gym, profile content, photos, or messages. We never send profile content, photos, messages, gym, or personal details to Google or Meta.

How long we keep it. We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except for limited records we must keep for security and legal reasons. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's retention policy.

Your choices. You can hide or pause your profile, change your gym, edit your profile, or delete your account at any time in Settings. You can manage which notifications you receive in Settings. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing [CONTACT EMAIL].

Age. SpotMe is for adults 18 and older only. You confirm your date of birth when you create your account, and we verify your age before your profile is visible.

Changes. We will notify you of material changes to this policy by email and in the app before they take effect.
